Our Community Bank along with the Buninyong Mt Helen Lions Club and Soroptimist International of Ballarat Inc sent 17 local secondary students to the renowned Magic Moments Youth & Leadership Summit in Sydney recently.
Our Community Bank is a devout supporter of this program for the personal transformations and impact it has on individual students at this stage in their life. It’s such a pivotal experience and can be the light bulb moment for what comes in the future.
The students from Mount Clear College, Phoenix P-12 Community College, Ballarat High School and Woodman’s Hill attended the five-day program. In 2025, 12 will return to complete the Graduate Program to continue to develop their skills and support their learning.
We were lucky enough to hear from the students themselves who attended the Summit.
Community Bank Partnerships Lead Kelly Bevan said “it’s wonderful we can play such a part in the development of these emerging leaders. For many, Magic Moments is a life changing experience. Most kids didn’t know each other before attending the program, and have all created friendships beyond the program”.
