At Community Bank Buninyong, we’re incredibly proud to support the Community Governance Program run by Ballarat East Neighbourhood House!
We recently joined local community groups at Morshead Park, focusing on the key question: "Where does the money come from?"
It was a fantastic event with insights from local grant funders like the Ballarat Council, Ballarat Foundation and our very own Community Partnerships Lead Kelly Bevan representing Community Bank Buninyong. Participants also heard from local groups about how they secure funding through memberships, donations, online platforms and partnerships.
It’s always rewarding to see our community come together to share ideas, ask questions and build lasting connections.
Kay Miller from the Ballarat East Neighbourhood House, said: "It was great to see people interested in the presentation content and to hear the buzz of conversation during the evening. There were plenty of questions from participants for the Q&A session. We hope to offer more of these sessions in 2025."
